Passenger plunged to death from world’s largest cruise ship ‘after fight with wife’

A cruise passenger jumped to his death earlier this year off the world’s largest cruise ship. He has since been identified as a military veteran who was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Retired Lt. Col. James Bryan Wright, 53, got into a “physical altercation” with his wife, Tracie, on the first day of a week-long cruise en route to the Caribbean on May 26, a police report said.
“Shortly after the altercation Mr. Wright exited the cabin at which point he made his way to Deck 5 where he entered a secure gated area and proceeded to jump off the ship,” it said.

“Bryan was so humble and always demonstrating compassion and understanding.
“I always enjoyed being in his presence.”
